Joy and Madness will be hitting the Sacramento Music Festival another year.

• 6:00pm – Firehouse Lot
• 9:00pm – Freeway Gardens

Every Memorial Day Weekend since 1974, Old Sacramento and other Downtown venues have been home to one of the area’s biggest parties of the year. Originally the Old Sacramento Dixieland Jazz Jubilee, the event has evolved with the changing times to include other styles of music in addition to classic jazz and swing. Sponsored by the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society, the event supports the preservation of traditional jazz—America’s greatest original art form—through STJS Jazz Education Programs.
